... and I don't feel fine.

John Stewart is leaving the Daily Show.

I may stop watching TV completely.

I am as saddened as you.

But looking ahead, I hope they do a better job replacing him than they did with Colbert. I caught some of The Nightly Show with Larry whoever last night. He apparently had had an anti-vaxxer on earlier in the week, and then last night he had a panel of people to respond to viewer reactions to shows. Their first topic was the AV person. (I don't know anything about who or what was said.) One of the panelists was the exec producer of the show. Larry asked him, should we have had an AVer on? And the producer said well, with anything, you have to talk about both sides.

NO! :hammer:

And the rest of the panelists I'd call anti-vaxxer apologists. "I do/would vaccinate my kids, but you have to respect the choices of others."

I turned it off. Maybe Larry himself is a vaccine advocate, but I feel so strongly about this issue, and am so disappointed that the exec producer said what he did, that I refuse to watch it again.

Ok, back to mourning Jon now.

I agree, this is not a matter of points of view, it's a matter of facts.
