In the year.....2020

In the year.....2020

Postby pumpkinpi » Mon Aug 22, 2016 3:12 pm

I'm writing a grant including activities we'll do over a three year timeline. It ends in 2020, so I've been writing that number a lot. Boy does it look strange!

And it is reminding me of the song In the Year 2525. It doesn't have quite the same cadence....but 2020 is actually a year we'll be around to see so it has more relevance!

Do we have to get as high as the guy who wrote "2525"?

Actually it does remind me of a Cheesy 1970s Cartoon: Sealab 2020

Now I'm thinking of that Futurama episode ...

In the year twenty five twenty five twenty five,
the backwards time-machine still won't have arrived
In all the world there's only 1 technology,
a rusty sword for practising proctology

I would have thought Jetsons fashion would be more vogue by 2020. Quick, we have four years to start that fashion trend!
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

Rommie, you could rock that. Need a costume for Halloween?

You're right Swift. She could totally rock that!
