Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Postby Parrothead » Sat Oct 08, 2016 8:57 pm

It's Thanksgiving weekend up here. Celebrating today. The bird is roasting in the oven. Sides will be veggies, mashed potatoes, herring fillets, sauerkraut, cranberry sauce.

Dessert is and apple, pear and cranberry crisp served with a bourbon sauce.

It'll be nice to relax tomorrow and Monday! Cheers!

Oh yeah, Go Jays Go!

Just got back from my uncle's place who hosted a Canadian Thanksgiving for us and all his kids and grandkids. Good for me as who knows if I'll be getting one in November. I chose my weekend to visit well. 8-)
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends.
