The Trade went down 25 years ago today. Number 99 moving from the Edmonton Oilers to the LA Kings. Wisely for himself, Gretzky demanded McSorely be included in the trade, as players on opposing teams would know, if they took a run at Gretzky, they'd be answering to McSorely. There were rumours of the trade, in the days before, shock when it actually happened.
