Ah...yes. That is what I had learned many years ago when I was thinking I might actually want to do something with pixels and programming. Except for the part about PNG being a bit better for the invisible background. :P

OISC

You can also build a complete computer using just RAM and a D flipflops (or a ocatal edge triggered latch etc).
I designed and built an ASM language/compiler and the computer as an engineering project. One of the earliest HDL type systems that were around back then.
In essence, it's the nano code core of CISC computers such as the intel series in PC's.

Sorry, I just can't help myself.
Thanks for all the fish.

Eh. Did that on an old programmable calculator (non RPN) that had steps rather than a program. IOW, it followed a keyed sequence once you put numbers in. So I coded a lunar lander using thrust from fuel, mass of the lander etc. Took a while to figure out and it was more fun to work out the program than to play the game. lol
Thanks for all the fish.

and we like you here. lots.

the 2 are not mutually exclusive. just don't cut back on posting here in order to post on fb.

FB does gain you a wider audience. Do both.

FB does offer the opportunity to gain a wider audience. The downside is that audience may expect different things from you. ;)
