Military training taught me to be both somewhere and missing simultaneously. 8-)

Didn't realize I'd be known as "Grumpy". Old Man, OldCM, pretty much the same though.

Sorry, maybe I was just remembering your avatar which appears grumpy. Kind of like Jeff Dunham's "Walter." :D

No apology necessary, Thumper. And you are right -- my avatar does appear kind of grumpy. :)

I've tried to contact him with every path I knew but I'm pretty sure he just doesn't want to be found.

Sadly I believe this to be true.

I had a dream that I met him. He introduced himself to me at a conference. I said "Lycus ? As in the guy with the mask?" Behind the mask Lycus is a pretty normal looking dude. Very tall.

You just gave me a much needed laugh after watching two television shows that absolutely wrecked me.

it's so weird. I'm a 'T' on the Jungian personality profile, and that's perfectly accurate for my every day life and dealing with people. But in fiction, I turn into a total 'F'.

So thanks for giving me a laugh after the tears I have shed for the last hour.

Glad you had a good laugh, especially if you needed one. There's nothing like a belly laugh to soothe one's spirit. :D

Hello!

I just finished moving my things from Toronto back to Ottawa - I've been without a computer since early May. I literally just plugged my PC in about 20 minutes ago. First thing I did was come here.

Now to catch up...

Yeah, sorry about that. Finishing law school, not using Facebook, being without a proper computer, and driving back and forth between Toronto and Ottawa about a thousand times all kind of happened at the exact moment that the forum went under. I just set up my PC today. First stop, FWIS. Second stop, new URL.

Glad to see that things are running pretty smoothly.

As for the FWIS Fry, this is probably another that I need to sit out. I'm kind of killing myself looking for work at the moment. Looks to be that way for the foreseeable future. Will update as circumstances evolve.

Really, right now, I'm just happy that I have a FWIS to go to.

Oof. Come for the discussion, stay for the puns. That hurt.

And, yes brite, thank you! You must have worked very hard to get things going again.
