Yes, and I have to admit I don't really know how that works. I don't have facebook on my phone so I didn't check it or post at all during vacation. But I do have instagram, which I use to follow my niece's art and Celeste Barber. (Check her out, seriously.) I also follow my college roommate and my sister, so I figured I'd post some for their sake. But I guess instagram and fb are somehow linked, so people I'm fb friends with can find my instagram?

I don't have fb on my phone for security reasons, so I guess I shouldn't have instagram either.

Facebook owns Instagram but I don't think FB friends automatically get IG access.

Then I'm not sure how various people that I've never reached out to on IG, but are my fb friends, are following me. But whatever. I signed up to be fb's product so they can do with me what they choose!

Facebook informs people when their FB friends are on IG, but they still have to poke the 'follow' button to get your IG posts in their feed.

Well, here's a different one. Is it crazy of me that my color labeling of gmail folders in my to do list section had gotten so out of hand that I had to rename the labels in rainbow order? For example, I had made Apollo blue, and to keep it blue I had to assign it to 4.

Got home late after TKD class and started mowing. I mowed my @ss off. I was only hoping to get half done. Then I got stuck. That just motivated me. It's due to rain from late last night until Saturday mid day. So I just mowed everything. It was good and dark when I finished. Thankfully the mower beast has lights. I'd push mowed a couple times but this was the first time with the Grasshopper. There were places where it was surely a foot tall.

So I picked up some eggs from a local foodie who has a large herd of chickens. Farm fresh eggs, as it were. She's really friendly and likes to inform folks about her eggs. I did not know, for example, that eggs are laid with a 'bloom' on the shell that helps to keep bacteria out. If you wash eggs, you remove that protective layer.

Yep, I've heard that. The vigorous washing that most commercial eggs goes through does nothing and could actually make your eggs less safe and more susceptible to bacteria.

Yes, but then they have justification for telling you the eggs expire in 30 days and you should replace them.

Holy crap, I got the mowing done. It only poured on me for about 30 minutes. I did not get stuck but I did lay some spectacular muddy tracks. It was so wet and thick that I was shooting out basketball sized wads of grass and mud. But it's all done, until next week...
