Currently a student of business, human resource management specifically. Recently taken up HAM radio as a hobby.
In my copious spare time Nanny to a wonderfully energetic 5 yo nephew.

As I was formulating a quick bio for you it made me realize how crazy long this family has been together! Here goes. You may know some of this.
Somewhere in 2000 I found the website Bad Astronomy and its associated bulletin board. Otherwise known as BABB. Many here now started there too. We couldn't talk about religion or politics there without getting in trouble, so we migrated here for those discussions! I can't believe it was over 15 years ago that it began--for me. Some probably even earlier.
I was in Maryland at the time. In 2004 I met my now husband, and in 2006 we moved to Minnesota. It's my 10th year here, holy cow!
We've had two wonderful kiddos, Buster (6) and Russter/Rooster (3).
My official title here is astronomical spokesperson. I work in a planetarium and every now and then get to do interviews for the press. And I sometimes come here to brag.
So much joy and pain we've seen....

I found BABB late in 2003. I arrived here at FWIS in 2004. I met vendic late in 2004 and married him late in 2005. We'll be celebrating our tenth next week (December 29), but there won't be astronomy involved because of the rain that's going to be here for the next ten days.
