I swear. Eating food in the U.S. has become such a crap shoot!!!

They do admit that the risk is low or very low. The last outbreak before this one was in 2009. But, in a society where litigation and risk aversion is the norm it makes sense for the FDA to issue this warning.

All those years of doing all that tuff that killed me - riding wthour protective gear like a roit control cop, the poison from the garden hose.. now this. No wonder we're all dead.

I agree with the Article Rommie posted. :mrgreen:

The risk of contracting an illness from processed flour is very low. So I suggest you only eat raw cookie dough on special occasions. Go slow. Only eat it on days ending with the letter Y.

That was interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I, actually, consider eating at Chipotle far more risky, because I'm pretty sure they're being targeted in that lovely corporate espionage kind of way. But, I also way prefer Qdoba to Chipotle, so I'm sure that figured into my cautiousness. ;)

It's actually gotten a lot better. You should have seen it before the Pure Food and Drug Act. Somedays though, we know too much for our own good. Today may be one. Everything has a risk.
