Happy Earth Day

We celebrated with a walk to the end of our road and back. We picked up 4 bags of trash and recycling. It's kind of amazing and a little scary how many beer bottles and cans get tossed out of car windows on our road.
In memory of our guiding lights - Russ, Mike and Charlie - “To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path, and don't worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest”

I used to have a co-worker who would plan their vacations on the possibility of seeing a certain bird and adding it to their life list. I'm nowhere near that dedicated. But I've heard the marsh is a really great place to visit for many reasons.Rommie wrote:Very cool! I always feel like birding is one of those things I should get really into, because I'm a fan of geeky things and nature and travel, but just never really got me interested. I could get why my friend was so interested in spotting a new migratory bird, but the idea of going out and just looking for them is... less interesting I guess?
