Well, he did say if she didn't resign he would veto funding for the department she was the chief of. When she didn't resign he cut the funding. On one hand as the governor he had the right to veto funding for that department. OTOH he really shouldn't use the veto as a cudgel to force people to quit. And the fact that she was acquited of "official misconduct" means that his stating she wasn't fit to stay in the job is questionable.

In the military we might call that undue influence. Coercion works for me. :P

I think we should try him then execute him when he is obviously found guilty.
I'd call that poetic justice...or just justice.
Oh yeah, no appeals to the governor for him either, or at the least, he can appeal but the governor should by law be required to not bother acknowledging the appeal.
After all, there is the Perry precedent that establishes this method governor apathy when deciding on executing a citizen.

The only difference is, Perry will actually be guilty of some crime regardless of it's significance, before being executed, as opposed to being totally innocent losing your entire family and then being executed.
Fuck Perry and the sociopathic donkey he rode in on.
May the judicial system make his life a living hell.

Oh wait. Never mind. They are also the fuckers that will take money to decide verdicts.
Justice for the rich!
Haven't we come a long way since the French revolution?

Ah, yes Mr. Ooops, his Stetson Gallon Hat is too big for his head so it rests on his nose.
