This was on 60 Minutes this past Sunday.
He leaked the internal notes that HSBC had on customers, which clearly show they knew when money was obtained through illegal activities, or when the customer was trying to avoid taxes - they offered specific products to satisfy those customer needs. So the old "we were just storing the money, we didn't know what they were doing" is an utter lie.
The bank officials need to sent to prison, doing hard time, for conspiracy, fraud, money laundering, etc. But it won't happen.
