my grad school advisor often said something quite similar!

I wasn't expecting that.

I admit I was kinda wondering whether we'll be calling them red hats in the future.
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

It seems the Inspector General at the Justice Department is interested in the FBI and Mr Comey's actions just days before the presidential election. Justice Department inspector general to investigate pre-election actions by department and FBI

Horowitz wrote that he will explore “allegations that Department or FBI policies or procedures were not followed” in connection with both letters. When he is finished, his office will probably issue a lengthy report detailing what it has found, as it has done in other high-profile matters, though it is also possible he could recommend criminal charges for anyone found to have broken the law. The probe could take a significant amount of time.

I am not sure anything will come of it. I am reasonably sure that the republicans will what they can to bury any evidence of election fixing and etc. It has already been stated that Comey will get a slap on the wrist at the worst.

Election fixing seems to be SOP in the USA.
No offense intended, but damn it seems like everyone has their paws in it.
Thanks for all the fish.

I don't think that Tammany Hall is quite what you think that it was... well... it was... but not the answer to this question.

Here what we have is the interference of a foreign government in our elections. Funny, because WE are famous (or infamous) for observing other countries elections to ensure fair elections. Perhaps that is what we need here.

What I find odd is that Reince Preibus said at one point that the RNC was also hacked at the same time that the DNC was hacked, But amazingly that information never managed to make it to WikiLeaks. And Mr Comey could comment on an "ongoing investigation" when it comes to Sec. Clinton, but not when it comes to Mr. Trump and the possible involvement with the Russians? I have to call bull shit there.

Other than that... I fear that I will have to agree with my favorite jack booted, brown shirted neo-con....

oh dumsum, don't you understand? clearly there was nothing the rnc had that would make trouble for them were it to be published.
