Yet another executive power grab

Hard for me to parse the legalese, but apparently this puts all federal agencies (including "independent" ones) directly under Trump's control, lets him control funding directly, and lets him interpret and enforce the law as he wishes - basically making Congress obsolete. Some of my friends are likening it to the Enabling Act of 1933.

The courts are thankfully unaffected... But the courts lack enforcement power. So at best this still worsens the "two separate legal regimes" problem.

Needless to say, protests are being organized. On which note, it might not be a coincidence that Trump's people dropped this just before a winter storm is predicted to hit DC. Bastards.
