Manning found guilty of some charges, but not all

Yep... that about sums up the Government...

How long until the wags start using this to mock Manning? Not long, I'd wager. Easy target for the social conservative set; easy target for Fox.

Whatever you think of Manning's actions, transphobia is not okay.

No, it's not, but the timing strikes me as a bit WTF. Let's just say it's not something I would own up to right before a long prison sentence.

Also btw I know a decent amount of this was said during the trial, and I find it hard to believe that being transgendered counts as an excuse for bad behavior as it was made out to be (well that and bad home life growing up). Just a pet peeve about stuff like that in trials- either stand up for leaking information because you think it was the right thing to do or don't say anything if you don't want to dig the hole deeper, but plenty of transgendered people don't break military rules or what not.
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

Cause this case wasn't weird enough...

Oh, hey...I got an old dull hunting knife in the trunk of the car. I can help him.

This is a bit of an aside, but spinning of Fox Zulu's "hypocrisy" comment:

We *do* try to police our own in a proper manner:

SSgt Bales convicted of Afghani murders

and

'Kill team' leader Calvin Gibbs guilty of murder

Just sayin'.
"German is an aggressive language. You could be reading a German script for 'My Little Pony,' and a Klingon Warbird would de-cloak..."

Do me a favour and search with equal vigor, cases that didn't even make trial and war crime cover ups.

When folks like Manning and Snowden are so eager to do it...they hardly need my help.

If you'd explain to me how I'd get information on these crimes that people are so sure the military is deliberately concealing...without having direct knowledge of them...I'd be be all ears.
