I completely concur. The only thing I use a crescent wrench for is a hammer or a pry bar when an actual one is not available. However, I am glad that Swift figured the whole conspiracy out, though...

In Oz, a Crescent wrench is called formerly a "shifting spanner" and informally an AFS. Any Fucking Size.
Apparently in Virginia it's referred to as a West Virginian socket set. So I'm told.

i don't understand the last few posts and i suspect that that is just as well. please do not try to explain.

i've found pliers essential for making jewelry and very useful for getting the plastic insets out of bottles when i get them ready for recycling.

Sure, bring back sanity into this thread...
