I recall ranting about Republican "spite politics" back on FWIS 2. Maybe I wasn't crazy.
It is great for metaphors, though, isn't it? The Republican establishment are elite Inquisitors, whereas Donald Trump is a goon with a baseball bat. Of course the establishment hates him. Sure, he works on the same principles... but his style is just so uncultured, you know?
