SCC refuses to hear appeal

The Supreme Court of Canada has refused to hear the appeal in the conflict of interest case involving Toronto's mayor. It didn't have much of a chance of proceeding. If I understood reports earlier, Mayor Ford will be able to recover court costs of the SCC appeal, earlier court costs he's on the hook for.

The circus around this mayor continues, on other fronts.
Hmmm, maybe Magder will now see if Ruby will take a pro bono case against the provincial Liberals, for making a "political decision" over cancelling gas plants, which will cost the taxpayers over $600m, so far.
