I dunno, I wouldn't go just because I wouldn't want to go. It's gonna be boring as fuck, they always are even to watch on TV.

That would be my excuse too. I even sleep through New Years fireworks. lol
They however are making it a moral decision which serves only to undermine them and are posting about it.

They may be undermining themselves, but they're a minority party so it fits their position as underdog. Since they can't prevent laws from being passed or repealed, their actions now can only have moral authority at most. They're making a bet that people will end up liking Trump less and less as time goes on, and then they will be viewed as justified in hindsight. The odds may be in their favor.
I'm going to be skipping it because I have to take my mom for a surgery consult. I'll say to him the same thing I'd say Trump, "Please cut it out."

Trumps approval rating is already at 44%. Most presidents have a considerably higher rating going into office.
