Demands that the Quran be banned, immigration reforms be initiated, government be expanded, and that free loading foreigners be kicked off welfare. It sounds like the Tea Party. Surprise! It's not in the U.S.

Frankly, if anything the US imported them from here- let's just say some bits of history never fully went away. (Hungary's is basically anti-Semetic, Geert Wilders has been spouting his anti-immigration stuff in the Netherlands for far longer than the Tea Party's been around.)

I also think another way to explain it is frankly every country has a right-wing fringe party of crazies, and it's just a question of how open they are about being crazy.
