Thanks guys. So far, she's still comfortable. She's a bit absent minded, and I'm always really happy when I get to the litter box at the same time she does, so I can actually get her in the box. I give her credit for making it to the vicinity however.
She's still able to jump on sofas and beds, but she's not eating, only drinking, so it's obviously only a matter of time.
The waiting is horrible, but knowing that she is not suffering makes it worth it.

sfc, i'm so sorry to hear about gracie. i know how close we can be to our pets. i have found myself missing the cat(he acquired us after we'd resolved 'no more pets'. since he wasn't a pet he didn't have a name.) far more than i thought possible.

it's funny. Just this evening, we smelled cigarette smoke in our living room/kitchen area. No one lives within a hundred yards, but the wind conspired to send smoke from across the street all the way up at the neighbor's house, into our living room. Made vendic wanna puke. His triggers do not include the smell of smoke. I thought it smelled nice, but I'm really proud of getting through this current crisis without lighting up. I mean, we are fighting cancer after all.
It was just interesting, because for me, the smell of smoke is a real trigger, but for vendic, it's the exact opposite.
In any case, we're still smoke free and hope to stay that way.
