Well, the good news is, despite the zombie/vampire overrun of the pumping station, the gas shortage seems to be minimal.

They're deceiving you, the only way to make sure is to nuke them from orbit.

Quite a deception. "Let's make the humans think there isn't a gas shortage by providing them with adequate supplies of gas! Bwahahaha!"

Stupid zombies. Vampires. Whatever.

Ah-ha! Another King fan! I'm re-reading The Dark Tower series (3rd time through at least) before the movie comes out next winter.

I don't even remember Bag of Bones being made into a movie. On TV too?

That's so cool that It is being filmed in your town. Have you seen any signs of it? The filming, that is. Not the actual It.

It was all about a giant lonely spider that no one understood.
He hadn't had a decent meal in so long he was going insane.
Then the humans banded together and killed him.
It was very sad.

I'll add hilarious and sad. I particularly like, "Did you just spray me with furniture polish? You crazy bitch!"

Oddly enough, I let spiders live in Australia. It's the snakes you have to watch out for there. Here, the spiders are damn aggressive and a number of them are venomous.

So, you're fine with pet funnel web spiders?

Not at all, but it's only the Sydney ones that are deadly, and I don't plan to live there. :D

Elliot always insisted that we leave spiders alone or take them outside. I still do this.

today's his birthday. he would have been 27.

We always leave them alone. When Buster was a wee one, we had a daddy longlegs that lived under his crib. He named it Freddie.

Golden birthday, 27 on the 27th. Hugs to you.

We used to leave them alone until one bit vendic. He had a pretty bad reaction to it. I swear - the insects here want to kill him!

Today, however, if I see one, we'll shoo it outside in honor of Elliot.

Speaking of Australian spiders ...

A 21-year-old Australian tradesman has been bitten by a venomous spider on the penis for a second time.
The man was using a portable toilet on a Sydney building site on Tuesday, when he suffered a repeat of the incident five months ago.
