Not that I ever shopped there anyway...

Let's promote rape as a fun and mischievous activity. :?

I can't figure out who the hell approved that.
Do they have no connection with reality?

I know! And if you read the comments, LOTS of people have no connection with reality. Very sad.

Baby it's cold outside!

(Seriously still not sure how that's a Christmas song.)

Well see Rommie, it's like this. Christmas is all about the virgin birth. :P

Yeah - it's got a great tune, and the original was performed well, so I tried to justify it for awhile, but in all honesty, I got nothin'.

That Bloomingdales ad is disgusting. (As far as luxury department stores in general, I'll keep my opinions to myself for now.)

I'd never heard it (or heard of it) before. Apparently the singing roles are referred to as "mouse" (for the woman) and "wolf" (for the man)... Wow.

They do a twist in the second and third scenes where the woman is the one saying it's cold outside.
So 1/3 is male abusing female, the other two are females abusing males.
The words also go on about how she needs to put up a show that she resisted, indicating they both wanted the same thing but it was what passed as flirting back then.

I'm with Rommie on it though. WTF has it got to do with christmas?

I see. So, it's not date rapey. It's slut shaming. ;)

I think it's more a time period thing.
Back then this would pass as romantic comedy.
I wonder how the current batch of romantic comedies will hold in 50 years time seeing as today's romantic comedies are often worse than what we saw back then.
