Because I know you are interested in this topic, a Dutch company is looking to make sustainable smartphones. No materials from conflict zones, pay the workers a living wage, all that jazz.

So, are you gonna order one? :)

Heard this on NPR the other morning. So I googled it. They don't talk about where all the components will come from. But at least the final assembly of the Moto X phone will be in Texas.

To be honest I don't see myself using a smartphone... ever, really. But this is awesome. I hope Fairphone starts a trend.
