I have a nice little full function scientific calculator. Hex, oct, bin, dec, the various square/cube and related root functions, x to the y power, the associated roots, and a gazillion other things I have to look at in the directions to remember how to use because I use them so infrequently.

I still have the little LCD 3-button-battery powered 4-function calculator I bought away back when to help me with my log book when I was a truck driver. Bought it at a truck stop in Illinois back in '77 or so IIRC. Kept the receipt.

Just shy of $40.... :shock:

Things do change...

I designed the worlds first talking scientific calculator back in about 1986. So long ago I can't even remember the date that well.
