Thaey have announced the names of the four people who will be inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in October. Ropert Crippen, the pilot of the first shuttle launch and Chris Craft one of the most prolific controllers and directors at NASA are two of them. I can't say Crippen without saying "Crippen and Young" the first shuttle crew. And we would not have made it to the Moon without Craft.

My sister got to go last year when they inducted Gene Kranz. Got to meet him and got his autograph. She said he was charming and gave all the credit to his wife and family. They also gave a special award that night to Jim Lovell. She was so worried that I would be mad and jealous that I didn't get to go. I was thrilled for her, there was no way I could make it to Dayton that day. Stuff like this should get more publicity. Other people I won't mention, should get less.
