Plopped down on the easy chair last night to watch a little TV before falling asleep. Stumbled on to The Birds. I realized I'd never really seen much of it before, though Dad was a big Hitchcock fan and we had watched many of his movies together. One of the many things I noticed was how slow it started. There was alot of slow dialog and character development. At times, the Birds seemed like a side act to the movie. I know, "character development" in a thriller/horror/action flick: WTF.
Of course the cinematography and all the camera shots and angles stood out prominently. Still trying to figure out what that cool car was that the lead actress drove around, it was way cool. So was the movie.
