Clyde Stubblefield, RIP

Postby Thumper » Wed Feb 22, 2017 2:08 pm

As someone who really likes drummers in bands, I should note the passing of an influential one. Even when I'm going to a concert to see a guitarist or a singer, I end up enjoying the show or not, because of the drummer. Stubblefield was one of the most sampled drummers of all time, responsible for many of the funky back beats in James Brown hits.

RIP.

It's cool that Prince paid his cancer bills years ago.

That is awesome. I've run across other stories of Prince quietly helping people and causes financially.
