I heard a bit earlier, he passed away this morning. Probably best known for directing The Silence of the Lambs , other credits include the remake of The Manchurian Candidate, Married to the Mob, Melvin and Howard. An episode of Columbo, a couple of episodes of The Killing. Music videos for New Order, Talking Heads, UB40 with Chrissie Hynde, Bruce Springsteen.
