Into the Badlands

Postby SciFi Chick » Tue Apr 10, 2018 4:02 pm

Just started this show on Netflix. The pilot was brilliant. I'll pop back in after season one.

Post-apocalyptic feudal society with luscious cinematography and fantastic fight scenes.

The star/executive producer is a fan of Luc Besson and Kurosawa and it shows.

I've seen a couple of episodes but then got distracted by other things, like moving and Jessica Jones. Seems watchable.

I've got 34 episodes of "The Big Interview" to watch. I'll never get to see anything else for a couple years. :P

Sounds cool! Added it to the list. But seriously, you do not want to know how long that list is. :P

So many series. So little time. :P

Remember when the problem was finding stuff to watch rather than finding time to watch all the stuff?

Yeah I feel like there was always a Simpsons or Seinfeld rerun on back then. :)

I come from a time where there were only 3 channels and they went off the air at midnight. I actually predate "The Simpsons".

And there was no such thing as VHS tapes. I spent many a night reading. :P

I was outside playing.
Now I have this nervous feeling about things stacked on my DVR. I NEED to sit down and watch and delete them, before new ones show up. And worst case, the DVR fills up and starts deleting shows I haven't watched.
