
Also, sheer luck- at the cheapest price point our two options were literally either "last row of the top balcony" or "partial obstruction" seating in the seventh row due to a balcony. I always opt for the "partial obstruction" seats in theaters because I'd rather miss 2% to properly see the remaining 98%, and even better, at intermission we were asked by some folks towards the middle of the of the sixth row if we wouldn't mind switching. They had to leave early to catch their train, see. So oh darn, we had to sit in $500+ a seat seats, and it was fantastic.
Anyway, if anyone's considering it ever even though it's expensive, I still say you should go see it.
Finally, funny thing, the tour casts a wide enough net these days that my parents saw Hamilton a few weeks ago in Naples, FL. My dad complained after because he thought "the songs weren't memorable" and "rap is on its way out anyway," so I had a tough time not saying "ok boomer" and settled with "that's one opinion!" So yeah, maybe don't go if you think either of those things.
