YES! Or at least really ugly domestic violence. She TRUSTED Stephen not to hurt or harm her, and then he turns around and does the most heinous thing to her than can be imagined... For his own aggrandizement.

The death of this villain was righteous...

I sobbed, and though I figured out that true love's kiss would come from Maleficent rather than Prince Philip, I didn't realize she was going to get her wings back. It was a well earned happy ending.
