The actor passed away after a battle with acute leukemia. Memorable roles (for me) in "BullItt", "Magnificent Seven", "Towering Inferno". Too many tv roles to mention, but best known as Napoleon Solo in " The Man From U.N.C.L.E. "

Looks like his first roles were from 1955!

So long Mr. Solo, at least Illya Kuryaki is still around.
