Hidden Figures

Saw this movie last night, and I highly recommend all you geeky people see it! It was all about the black women at NASA in the 1960s who helped in the mathematical calculations on trajectories and set up the first computers. So, a really good picture about how to make this stuff work, and lots of fun references- Fortran is a fun and new programing language! for example- and some good zingers.

I suspect I'll hear the line "they don't let us do the calculations because we wear skirts, it's because we wear glasses!" will be heard in departments like mine for a LONG time to come. :)
Yes, I have a life. It's quite different from yours.

Pumpkinpi mentioned this film in my Movie thread. It's definitely on the list. The Kid is interested as well, all by herself. :P
