FWIS3

Season 2 concluded a couple of weeks ago. I haven't read any of the novels, but have enjoyed the tv series. Perhaps, at some point in the future I'll get around to reading some of the novels.

It was recommended by the BA and a few others, so I tried both the book and the series. I was surprised that it just wasn't for me. I couldn't get through more than a chapter of the book nor the first half of the first episode. What's surprising to me is that the part in the series that bothered me the most was the zero-g sex scene. It's not that I am offended by them in general. They don't bother me in shows like Game of Thrones or Catastrophe (Amazon Prime--fkn hilarious. Check it out if you can!) But those seem to be streamlined more with the story. The Expanse's scene was gratuitous to me.

But, I'm glad you like it, and hope others check it out despite my negative review!

Well, now I'm interested.

But it was just one sex scene, and they haven't done one since.
