The Finest Hours
Posted: Tue Jul 18, 2017 5:47 pmI was interested this movie when it first came out. Then like usual I lost track of it. Based on the true story of a daring US Coast Guard rescue, it kind of flopped in the box office. This Wikipedia entry may be more informative.
We're undergoing a major home remodel which leaves me without a functioning TV (or living room furniture) so we've been Netflixing movies on the laptop at the foot of our bed. I stumbled on to this last night. I enjoyed it. Not too many extreme CGI effects, and the story wasn't bent and made extreme beyond belief. I guess that's why it failed.
