Stronger

The movie adaptation of Jeff Bowman's book. He's the Boston Marathon bombing "Hero." I thoroughly enjoyed the book although I cried all the way through it. I knew to expect the movie to be different: a condensing of events and timelines, a merging of characters. But sometimes it took me out of the movie and I wanted to pause it and tell Mrs. T what actually happened.

One thing's for sure: I believed Jake Gyllenhaal is a double amputee.

Nobody's seen it, or nobody cares?
I appreciated both the book and the movie.

Haven't seen it.
We don't get much opportunity to see stuff lately.

A movie about runners. Did Chariots of Fire do well at the box office?

I only go to a handful of movies during the year. Stronger probably won't be one of them. I rarely watch those type of movies. Of course, I also don't have any interest in running for 26 miles non stop either. If the flying spaghetti monster wanted men to be marathon runners he would not have inspired us to invent V8 engines. :P

The movie has nothing to do with running.

It doesn't? Next, I suppose you will want me to watch the movie to find out what it is about. :P

No, you may go back to keeping up with the Kardashians. I'll not bother you further.

according to Wikipedia, chariots of fire earned $59 million in the us. I don't know if that's net or gross and, either way, I don't know if that's considered good or not.

it was a wonderful movie and I urge y'all to go see it or see it again. fisher, one need not be a runner to appreciate it.

Yeah. That's them.

Fwiw, I have less knowledge about the Kardashian's than pumpkinpie has about James Bond. Can't name them/him/her? Or recognise from voice or photos.
I hear this is like 300 steps closer to Zen.
