I did the same thing in Cleveland

This has been really echoing in my brain, particularly given other events....

Well some say life will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So I've started out for God knows where
I guess I'll know when I get there

I am not a huge fan of his music, but I understand what a great influence he was and what a loss this is.

This is what sticks with me about him. When I was at the Rock Hall in Cleveland in the early 00's, there was an exhibit about the artists most influential on music videos. It was Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and him.

He has some killer videos. And I'm not a fan of music videos.

End of the Line: "Songwriters: Bob Dylan / George Harrison / Jeff Lynne / Roy K Orbison / Tom Petty"

Well it's all right, as long as you got somewhere to lay
Well it's all right, everyday is judgment day

My wife and I both heard the "somewhere" as "someone", except I heard it coupled with the following "well" as "with"

But there's another ambiguous lyric:
It don't matter if you're by my side (end of the line)
I'm satisfied

So, is that "It don't matter, if you're by my side I'm satisfied" or is it "It don't matter if you're by my side. I'm satisfied."

That's what I thought. A very positive song.

I love that video (did when it first came out, just after Roy's death), but it makes me very sad at the moment. Makes me miss George all over again.

If you haven't heard the rest of the Wilburys first album, get it; the whole album is fantastic.
