What a fantastic storyteller, and a heartfelt singer/songwriter. Got the chance to see him at an intimate venue in Cleveland Saturday night. What a treat.
For those of you unfamiliar with his work, he gained fame as the leader of the Australian group Men at Work. His popularity received a more recent boost when his friendship with Zack Braff led to appearances of both him and his music in the series Scrubs.
Look for the Helpers. You will always find people who are helping.

The first thing I thought of was his appearance on Scrubs where he appeared everywhere singing Overkill. That's my favorite of theirs.
Too bad ignorance isn't painful.

That certainly brought back that song. It's probably his most popular. The haunting acoustic rendition he does now is a crowd favorite. It's amazing how different that song sounds to me than the band's original studio version.
