At this point I would like to apologize to everyone, because I made an observation to my boyfriend just last weekend or so that Trebeck must be getting pretty old, and I was wondering if he would retire soon. So... yeah. Fuck cancer.

Yes, I was reading somewhere today that Trebeck is in many ways the last Cronkite of television- that is, a reassuring, authoritative voice in every person's home. Which definitely has something to it. I do think it's awesome we have so many options for entertainment these days, but I don't think we are going to have shows everyone tunes into like Jeopardy or the evening news in coming years for sure.
