Whether in triumph or tragedy, success or failure, you always handled yourself with dignity and humility, You may never know how much you meant to each of us, or you might be embarrassed as to how much we revered you. Posted: Mon Jan 13, 2020 6:28 pmI'm glad he was able to spend the last few years with his wife and daughter and not out on the road. I'm glad he was able to keep it private as he wished. I'm sad for his family. I'm sad I'll never get to see him perform live again.
Apparently my fanaticism is well known. Within minutes of the news breaking I was getting condolence texts with "Sorry for your loss," and everything. It was somewhat surreal.
