I'm a bit worried about how they'll handle Chani, and the extensively white cast is a point of annoyance as always. (Like WTF that's not even book canon, it's the year 2020, come on.) But it def looks like an improvement on the David Lynch version.

I watched the trailer. It has a couple of actors we like. David Batisita appears to be playing a Harkonnen. I will have to hate him in the movie. It also looks like Duncan Idaho will be played by Jason Momoa.

I am crossing my fingers that I will feel it is safe enough to see it on the big screen when it comes out.

Timothee Chalamet, Jason Momoa... I'm appreciating the level of male eyecandy involved here TBH.
