Saw them both at an arena show Saturday. Jackson opened up and James played with him on his last couple songs. Then he joined James for the last few songs and encores for James. Both were surrounded with impeccably talented musicians, including jazz legend Steve Gadd on drums for Taylor. What impressed me the most even though it was huge arena presentation 15,000 seat, jumbo trons, superior stage and light shows), it was still intimate. Several times through the evening it was just Jackson on the piano or James with his acoustic guitar. Two legends that can own a room no matter how big.

Oh and this was a first in the covid era: Of course we had to be masked all the time unless we were actively drinking, and our tickets were on our phone. But we had to up load our vax cards to an arena website a day or so before the show. When we checked in at the venue they checked quite quickly to verify they had our vax cards on file.
