Apparently the book was good.
This also didn't follow the book much at all.
Starts good, turns to shit quickly and just won't stop going down hill all the way to the end.

0/5

Probably should go negative really.

As someone who read the book, all I can say is, "Amen."

Read the book. Thought it was decent but not great. The second book in the series was disappointing though. Haven't seen the movie yet.

I really enjoyed the first book, so if you only thought it was decent, I cannot stress enough how much you don't want to waste your time with the movie. This isn't a case of being disappointed that it wasn't like the book. This is a case of - take all the characters' names, skip reading the book, have someone give you a synopsis, and then make a movie with a horrible plot, horrible characterizations and lots of teeny bopper nonsense.

If you decide to watch it, you'll enjoy the first ten minutes or so. When it starts to go bad, don't tell yourself that it has to get better. It doesn't and it won't. :D

I haven't read the books. I watched this movie and my eyes bled. I am completely over the adolescent supernatural quasi Buffy occasional vampire genre.

Why did you watch it?
Wasn't my awesome rating of 0/5 enough to prevent my friends from the torture that this movie was?

No it wasn't, it's a French Movie and everyone knows that French Movies are slow and boring, geared towards Intellectuals and other Pinko Commie Liberals.

And if you'll excuse me I will now go and watch The Transporter Trilogy for the umpteenth time
