Posted: Thu Jun 20, 2013 3:14 amI don't know, but more studies in this arena might give us some insight into the way some people hallucinate and/or have delusions. Maybe they just have eye - brain communication issues.

They will appear highly distorted, almost cartoonish versions of the original faces.
If you look directly at the individual pictures they look normal.
