Yes, babies are gross. I could never understand why parents would let their under-two-year-olds out in public with snot caked under their noses.

Until I had my own. When the fountain is running, there is no way to keep it clean without rubbing their face raw! You just have to wait until the cold passes.

Russter likes to use my shoulder as a kleenex so everthing I wear has snot marks on the left shoulder. I would not want to impose that on anyone else!

I never quite understood why people insisted on wanting to hold my kids... Thank you... I don't want your germs on my kids. It's bad enough that my germs are on my kids. I know that kids need to be exposed to germs... just not yours.

I usually look at the person trying to give me a baby to hold with a look that says, "keep it away. If it oozes liquid or emits foul smells, it may leave me no choice but to kill it."
