since we have a words you hate in BMR, figured we should have words you love - humor seemed t be the best place.

One of my very favorite words ever is persnickety - sounds just like what it means!

Smegma Breath. It's such an awesome word when you are on the freeway and have just been cut off by the snotty nosed brake slammer in front of you. :scream:

"Squat" has amused me lately. Do people want squat or not?

People will say "I don't have squat" and sound sad about it, indicating they would like some squat.

But then someone will say "I have squat" and sound sad about that.

Phantasmagorical.

Lambda-bar, a term in physics in E&M (where you take the greek letter lambda and put a bar on it). Because for some reason it sounds like a delicious chocolate bar or something.

"sinasappelsap" in Dutch means orange juice- sap is juice, appel is appel, sinasappel is an orange. I think I've started drinking more of it since I've shown up here.

I've always been fond of the phrase Bruce Willis's character used in Die Hard. Yippee kai yay motherfucker!

And the word 'fuck'. It's so versatile and cathartic. :D

Fuckin' ay. Whatever that originally meant.

I like 'awesome' a little too much. We need more words that are as awesome as awesome but aren't awesome.

Wow! ...and Tits doesn't even belong on the list. That is such a friendly sounding word. It sounds like a nickname, right? "Hey, Tits, come here, man. Hey Tits, meet Toots. Toots, Tits. Tits, Toots." It sounds like a snack, doesn't it? Yes, I know, it is a snack. I don't mean your sexist snack. I mean New Nabisco Tits!, and new Cheese Tits, Corn Tits, Pizza Tits, Sesame Tits, Onion Tits, Tater Tits. "Betcha Can't Eat Just One."

"Manufactroversy." Because it's great to be able to name the thing you despise. :)
