We want to but need permission from the landlord still. To be fair we've been really good at maintaining/improving the place so far, and F works from home so the kitten wouldn't even be alone much. And we have a kid living upstairs who IMO is just old enough to feed a kitty if we are out a few days- I feel that's always a great first job for a kid because it sure was mine.
