Candied apples

Candied apples

so here I try to find those little boxes of candy apple topping - do you think with a bumper crop of apples in the stores there was ONE to be found?? Nope.

Thankfully I think I can make it from scratch. I want to use the little apples from our tree so it will be just over the size of a healthy cherry - one good mouthful. Will report back the results.

Much to my sadness the thermometer was off and it didn't work :-(

However I did find the premade mix at the store today and am making some for dessert on Sunday
