A rerun

Can't have a bar without a Grill... So here's where we discuss great (and no so great) food. The good, the bad and the "even the dog won't eat it" mistakes of our culinary attempts...

A rerun

it was in the old board, evidently, 'cuz I can't find it in the new one...

Mom finds these things in diabetic publications, and forwards the good stuff on to me. Bless her heart, she found something about 70+% cocoa powder (aka really freakin' dark) chocolate in small quantities being good for you, even for us diabetics. I have the article, and am going to read the print off the page, 'cause today while wandering through the store, I found dark chocolate with a hint of chile in it...oh yeah...
I tried this stuff before...there's no bite, but a bit of back-of-the-tongue heat that's really interesting. Now to find the appropriate amount to indulge in at the stated intervals...

Endorphins, here we come... :cheer:
Dear Algebra -- stop asking us to find your x. She's not coming back - ever. Get over it.

i know someone who maintains hat since chocolate is derived from a plant it is a vegetable.
and still i persist in wondering whether folly must always be our nemesis. edgar pangborn

come gentle night. come loving black browed night
give me my romeo. and when he shall die
take him and cut him out in little stars
and he will make the face of heaven so fine
that all will be in love with night
and pay no worship to the garish sun. william shakespeare
